Over the weekend, a new trailer was released for Star Trek: Picard’s third and final season. With this trailer also came a new synopsis and poster for the season. It appears that the stakes couldn’t be higher for the former crew of Enterprise-D as they face off against a new foe, possibly with some new friends… or will they be foes? Star Trek: Picard Season 3 New Series Regulars
As seen in the trailer, two new characters will join Picard as series regulars. The first new face is Ed Speleers character who will be aiding Dr. Beverly Crusher’s efforts to provide medical assistance on worlds Starfleet has forgotten. Secondly, there is a new Captain being introduced. Todd Stashwick will be joining the show as captain of the USS Titan.

The third season of Star Trek: Picard will very much be a reunion of Star Trek: The Next Generation cast members. Sir Patrick Stewart, who plays the now Admiral Picard will be joined by TNG alumni LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, and Brent Spiner. Jeri Ryan and Michelle Hurd, who have been series regulars since season 1 of Star Trek: Picard also will be returning as stars for the show.
In the final season of Star Trek: Picard, Admiral Picard gets a desperate message from Dr. Beverley Crusher. This apparently kicks off the rekindling and reuniting of the former crew of the USS Enterprise-D along with some new allies. Together, they will go on an adventure facing the legacy of the past and new revelations that could significantly alter the future of the Federation.
Star Trek: Picard will be streaming exclusively on Paramount+ starting on February 16, 2023. Paramount+ is where all current new Star Trek series are being streamed in the United States. Here is a list of all new series coming out in 2023 on the streaming service. The final season of Picard promises to be an explosive ending with lots of surprises for the series. However, it might not be the end of the story for the characters in the series. Future offshoots of the series have been teased, potentially even for Admiral Picard.
