A new image has been released from Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny ahead of its arrival in theaters on June 30, 2023. The new photo shows Harrison Ford as Indy and Phoebe Waller-Bridge as Helena. Helena also happens to be the goddaughter of Indiana Jones. The release of this photo comes after Director James Mangold revealed that Shia LaBeouf’s Mutt Williams will not be appearing in this next Indiana Jones movie. The context of the photo isn’t shared but it looks like it could be right before Indy goes racing into an action scene.
There isn’t a ton that is known about Helena at this point. In an interview with Empire Magazine, Waller-Bridge shared that “She’s a mystery and a wonder,” in regards to Helena. Director James Mangold also described her as “slippery, charming, the girl next door, a grifter.” Harrison Ford also added that Helena is “a pioneer in ethical accounting.”
Earlier this month, the official trailer for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny was released. It had previously been shown during a panel at this year’s D23 Expo.
