On Sunday, the weather at Disneyland was less than delightful. Throughout the morning, in fact, it was downright frightful. However, as the day wore on, things got a bit nicer. However, things weren’t necessarily warm. The Daps Magic team saw that Disneyland Band has new coats for their uniforms for cooler days at the Disneyland Resort. The new coats match the traditional costumes that the band wears. The Daps Magic team had not seen them before. It is unknown when exactly these coats debuted, but it had to be recently.
Years ago, the Disneyland Band did wear coats while performing. However, when the costumes were updated, they were changed to a vest design. This is what the band is generally wearing on a normal day. The arrival of the coats comes as Southern California has been hit by cooler weather recently.
The Disneyland Band performed throughout the day at Disneyland, but didn’t do choreography on the wet pavement from the morning. Throughout their sets, some holiday tunes were also mixed in to fit with the all of the holiday decor around the Disneyland Resort. The Daps Magic team caught the band’s 1:00 PM set and got some video and photos of the new cool weather costumes.
