Walt Disney Imagineering Celebrates Milestone in Construction of New Tower for Disneyland Hotel

Walt Disney Imagineering is celebrating reaching a new milestone as it works on construction a new tower for the Disneyland Hotel. Today, Imagineering shared a post on its instagram sharing that the last of the highest steel beams for the building was raised into place today. With the milestone post, Imagineering also shared photos of the event.

We celebrated another construction milestone for the new tower at the Disneyland Hotel — the last of the highest steel beams was raised today, marking the topping off of the tower!

The new tower, when completed, will be known as The Villas at Disneyland Hotel. It will have 350 Disney Vacation Club villas when it opens. The building is 12 stories tall. Looking at proposed plans, The Villas will most likely include 253 deluxe studios, 20 two-bedroom villas, 19 one-bedroom villas, and two Grand Villas. At this time there isn’t an exact opening date known but it is expected to be sometime in 2023.
