Disney has announced that there will be two holiday specials coming from the Disney Parks this year with ABC. The first of the two specials is The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration. It will be airing on Sunday, November 27th from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM ET on ABC and hosted by Derek Hough and Julianne Hough. They will be joined by co-hosts Sherry Cola (Good Trouble) and Marcus Scribner (grown-ish). The following day it will be available on Hulu and Disney+. The second special will be the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade and air on Sunday, December 25th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET/ 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM PT on ABC. This will also stream live on Hulu to all subscribers.

Both of the specials are filmed at both Walt Disney World Resort and also Disneyland Resort. They will include musical performances of both holiday classics and also newer hits. They will also showcase heartwarming family stories and give sneak peeks and what is coming from different parts of The Walt Disney Company. There will also be a performance from aboard the Disney Wish, the Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, by Trevor Jackson (grown-ish). Finally, there will also be a sneak peek for Avatar: The Way of Water which is coming to theaters on December 16, 2022.
