M’Baku is coming to the Disneyland Resort. This morning it was announced by Disney Parks that the character will be coming to Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure as part of the celebration of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. This is the first of multiple announcements about what is coming to Avengers Campus ahead of the movie Disney teased.
Lord M’Baku is the leader of the Jabari Tribe in Wakanda. This group of Wakandans removed themselves from mainstream society and were opponents of T’Challa as ruler of Wakanda, eventually leading to a battle between the two. The conflict over T’Challa’s rule ends when he helps defend Wakanda from Erik Killmonger, who he realized was a much greater threat. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, M’Baku is portrayed by Winston Duke.
He will be returning in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever when it arrives in theaters on November 11, 2022. Stay tuned to Daps Magic for more updates about what will be coming to Avengers Campus in celebration of this movie!
