Hongkong International Theme Parks Limited (HKITP) has reappointed to Non-Executive Directors. This has Mr. Fung Ying Wai, Wilson, and Ms. Yeung Mei Chun being re-appointed to another two-year term that was effective on September 1, 2022. HKITP is basically the equivalent of a board of directors for Hong Kong Disneyland. The full press release about their re-appointment can be seen below.

HONG KONG, August 31, 2022 — The shareholders of Hongkong International Theme Parks Limited (HKITP), i.e. the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (the Government) and The Walt Disney Company, announced the re-appointment of Mr. Fung Ying Wai, Wilson and Ms. Yeung Mei Chun, Jeny as HKITP’s Independent Non-Executive Directors (INEDs) for a term of two years with effect from September 1, 2022.
Mr. Fung was Group Financial Controller of Jardine Matheson and the President of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a Board Member of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority and a member of the Town Planning Board. Ms. Yeung currently serves as the Hong Kong Transport Services Director of MTR Corporation Limited, Chairlady of Ngong Ping 360 Limited and a Director of Octopus Holdings Limited. She also holds a number of appointments in different government statutory and public bodies, including Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited and the Hong Kong Housing Authority. Mr. Fung and Ms. Yeung were first appointed as INEDs of HKITP in 2018 and 2021, respectively. They have extensive experience in the business and public sectors which will be beneficial to the strategic and continuous development of HKITP.
HKITP is a joint venture established by the Government and The Walt Disney Company in 1999 for the development and operation of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. Together with the two re-appointed INEDs, there are 11 Directors on the Board of HKITP. The full membership list is enclosed in the Annex.
