New Nighttime Spectaculars Coming to Disneyland Resort for Disney’s 100th Anniversary

Two new nighttime spectaculars will be arriving at Disneyland as part of The Walt Disney Company’s 100th-anniversary celebration. The Disney100 anniversary celebration begins in late January 2023. The Disneyland Resort will be the focal point for the start of this celebration. At A Boundless Future: Disney Parks, Experiences And Products Panel, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro shared about two nighttime spectaculars that will be a part of the celebration.

At Disneyland, a new firework spectacular will be lighting up the skies over Sleeping Beauty Castle. The show will be called Wondrous Journeys and will include references to all 60 Disney animated features to date when it opens. The theme song to the firework show, It’s Wondrous, debuted during the panel at the end.

At Disney California Adventure, a new World of Color will be making its debut. World of Color – One will be the new nighttime spectacular to light up the night at Paradise Bay for guests to enjoy.

D’Amaro also announced that Magic Happens, the parade that debuted at Disneyland in 2020 before the pandemic shut down the parks, will also be returning as part of Disney100.
