Details are slowly trickling out for Captain America: New World Order. It has been known for some time that this will continue the story of Sam Wilson’s Captain America. It has also been known that the screenplay is being co-written by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. More recently it was learned that Julius Onah will be directing the film.
This last weekend at San Diego Comic-Con the title and the release date were shared during the big Marvel Studios panel at Hall-H. The movie will be in theaters on May 3, 2024.
What exactly will be happening in this film is still very much a mystery. It would not be surprising if more details about the film are released at the D23 Expo in September. It also would not be surprising if Bucky Barnes were to make an appearance in the film. Who the villain will be is currently unknown, although, the title could be a clue.
