Traditional Space Mountain Returning to Disneyland in July

The traditional version of Space Mountain is returning to Tomorrowland on July 5, 2022. Currently, the Hyperspace Mountain overlay is being offered for the attraction in the continuation of the May the 4th Star Wars celebration at Disneyland.

The traditional version features a soundtrack by Michael Giacchino. This was added to the attraction in 2005, replacing Dick Dale’s soundtrack. The attraction originally opened in 1977 at Disneyland. Over the last 40+ years, the attraction has had different overlays. This includes the Rockin’ Space Mountain, Ghost Galaxy, and the current Hyperspace Mountain.
