Today cast members from across The Walt Disney Company have planned a walkout in support of its LGBTQIA+ cast, their families, and the community at large. As cast members are walking out, Disney has voiced support for the cause with multiple posts on social media. This includes its parks channels and also Disney+.
The post on the Disneyland Instagram account today read:
To ALL who come to this happy place, welcome. Disney Parks, Experiences and Products is committed to creating experiences that support family values for every family, and will not stand for discrimination in any form. We oppose any legislation that infringes on basic human rights, and stand in solidarity and support our LGBTQIA+ Cast, Crew, and Imagineers and fans who make their voices heard today and every day.

The Disney+ Twitter account also shared support with the following tweet:
The posts come a day after Disney CEO Bob Chapek held a virtual town hall with cast members regarding the inclusion of the LGBTQIA+ community after recent legislation in Florida. Disney is also starting a task force to seek out how Disney can be a “force for good” with the community. Disney executives will be engaged with cast members on a global listening tour as well.
