Obi-Wan Kenobi Coming to Disney+ on May 25

Obi-Wan Kenobi will soon be streaming on Disney+. Today it was announced that Ewan McGregor’s return to the role will be debuting on Disney+ on May 25th. Along with the announcement of the release date, a new teaser poster was released.

The series takes place 10 years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. This is where Obi-Wan Kenobi saw the fall of his apprentice and friend Anakin Skywalker to the dark side of the Force and turn into the notoriously evil Sith Lord, Darth Vader.

Obi-Wan Kenobi won’t just see the return of Ewan McGregor to the franchise. Hayden Christensen will be appearing in the series as Darth Vader. The cast also includes Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor, and Joby Harold.
