Three Restaurants Reopening at Walt Disney World Resort

Restaurants continue to reopen at Walt Disney World Resort. This week it was announced that Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk, The Turf Club Bar and Grill at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and Jiko – The Cooking Place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will all be reopening soon.

First off, the Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk will be reopening on January 27, 2022. When it reopens, their signature seafood dishes will again be served. This restaurant serves sustainable seafood, steak, and many other delicious offerings. Some of the favorites include the Seafood Pearl Pasta, which includes shrimp, lobster, scallops, clams, and mussels. The Plancha-seared Scallops is another popular dish that comes with savory grits, sweet corn, and Peppadew emulsion. Desserts are also delicious at the Flying Fish. Chocolate fans will love the Cocoa Breach that is accompanied with vanilla custard.

The Turf Club Bar and Grill at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will be reopening on February 3, 2022. This restaurant is known for highlighting American flavors. Check out the New York Cider-braised Mussels that are flavored with garlic, chorizo, fennel, Fresno chili, and apple cider topped with a grilled baguette. For the main courses, there are the Grilled Pork Chop or Braised Lamb Tagliatelle. Both are known for being delicious. Then make sure to leave room for dessert for the New York Cheesecake.

Jiko – The Cooking Place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will be reopening on February 17, 2022. This establishment offers the flavors of African, Indian, and Mediterranean cuisine. A popular dish here is the Seafood Tagine. It is filled with prawns, scallops, squid, and Littleneck clams and promises to be popular with loves of seafood or shellfish. Make sure to save room for dessert here as well. In particular, try the Kilimanjaro dessert. This is dark chocolate mousse, pistachio financier, pink peppercorn meringue, cacao nib crunch, and ras el hanout pineapples.

Along with the reopening of these three restaurants reopening, some buffet options will be returning to Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. At Cape May Café, an all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast buffet will be returning on February 15, 2022.
