It’s the merriest time of the year at Disneyland. Generally, that means A Christmas Fantasy Parade is presented twice a day along the parade route at Disneyland. However, with the rain coming down this beloved parade was replaced with Mickey’s Holiday Cavalcade.
As the rain came down, a cavalcade led by Santa in the yellow car followed by Mickey and friends in the omnibus made their way down the parade route as guests lined along the side of the street and waved. It is not uncommon for a rainy day cavalcade to be presented in place of a parade when there is inclement weather. While this cavalcade was presented at Disneyland, there was no apparent substitute at Disney California Adventure for Mickey’s Happy Holidays.
As the day progressed and the rain continued to come down, guests streamed out of the park. By mid-evening, the park was quite quiet. Rain is predicted to be continuing to come down in the coming days and give guests the chance to see Mickey’s Holiday Cavalcade.
