Pelé Walls Go Up Around Former Home of The Void at Downtown Disney District

Walls have gone up around the former home of The Void at the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort. The walls seem to indicate that this is where the previously announced Pelé Soccer is coming to the location. Currently, there is a Pelé at Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort. The store is named after Pelé, the legendary Brazilian superstar.

The Disney Parks Blog shared the following description about Pelé coming to Downtown Disney District:

This will be the ultimate soccer destination, where players and fans alike can choose from a vast selection of official club and national team jerseys from around the world, sports apparel, cleats, balls and accessories for men, women and children. You can even have jerseys customized with a name and number for an additional fee.

At this time, there isn’t an official opening date for Pelé. With the walls up though, this opening date will be sooner rather than later.
