Today the trailer was released for Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge — Last Call. Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge — Part II, is the final installment of ILMxLAB’s virtual-reality series for Oculus Quest. It will be arriving this fall. According to StarWars.com, in Last Call, “Batuu’s resident grouchy antiquities dealer Dok-Ondar will look to players, once again in the role of a droid-repair technician turned adventurer, to secure some valuable relics.” Along the way, two characters will be encountered. These two main characters are Lens Kamo and Baron Attsmun.
Baron Attsmun first was seen in the Canto Bight sequence of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and is voiced by Mark Rolston. Attsmun is a ultra-wealthy industrialist who sells cybernetic parts throughout the galaxy. It is teased that underneath the fancy look there is something much darker lurking. Lens Kamo is voiced by Karla Crome. Kamo is the daughter of scholar parents and grew up to have a deep love of history. She is now a treasure hunter who strives to keep artifacts out of the wrong hands.
Director Jose Perez III had this to say about what Last Call is like. “A large chunk of Last Call has strong Indiana Jones meets Star Wars vibes.” He continued by saying, “Lens Kamo is a relic hunter that has had an ongoing conflict with the evil Baron Attsmun. The Baron has been stealing relics and using them for nefarious purposes. Dok-Ondar gets the player involved in the mix when he hires them for a job and then…shenanigans ensue.”
Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge — Last Call will be coming to Oculus Quest this fall.
