Disney Parks Blog has released information regarding upcoming ways to make reservations at the Grand Californian and what to expect with its reopening. The hotel is still scheduled to reopen April 29 in time for an overnight stay for the reopening of the Disneyland parks. Reservations for the hotel will begin April 15. It is suggested to purchase tickets or make a park reservation before getting a hotel reservation if guests are looking to stay there in order to go into the parks. The reason is that a hotel stay does not guarantee getting into the parks, and guests need a park pass reservation in addition to the hotel reservation.
A little bit of details regarding food availability was divulged. Craftsman Bar and Grill and the Hearthstone Lounge will be open, but no mention of Napa Rose or Storyteller’s Café. It is mentioned that new mobile order offerings will be for Craftsman Bar and Grill and now, as it sounds like, Hearthstone Lounge. Many of the other amenities like the pool, character wake-up calls, and cabana services will be available.
Space will be in limited capacity for rooms as well, so reservations might go fairly quick since the Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Pier Hotel still have no reopening date.
