Disneyland Releases Information on Ticket Sales For Reopening

Disneyland has just released information on when you can purchase tickets for both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. April 9 is when guests that already have previous tickets can check for availability. April 12 at 8 am PT is when the theme park reservation system will open for those that have existing tickets. April 15 is when new ticket sales will begin at 8 am PT and can make park reservations.

There will be separate theme park reservations for Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. That means that it is only one park per ticket per day. However, the Disneyland site is saying that park hopper tickets will be available and park hopping will start at 1 pm, subject to availability on the particular day you are going. Park reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance of the date desired.

It is still planned that only California residents will be allowed to make ticket purchases. Up to 3 households can visit in groups. Park reservations will also be on a rolling basis for select dates and will be updated. In order to make a reservation you will have to link the ticket to your Disneyland account before making the reservation.

Though Grand Californian is reopening on April 29, it does not guarantee park access and guests need to still make park reservations. Reservations for the hotel will also begin April 15.

Park hours upon reopening will be 9 am to 7 pm each day for both parks, though they are subject to change. Parking will only be available at the Mickey and Friends and Pixar Pals parking structures. Dining reservations will be available starting April 22, and guests can start reserving tables 60 days in advance.

What is most interesting is that there is no mention of annual pass sales or tiers for tickets like Walt Disney World. It sounds like these will not be available for Disneyland guests. For more information on what it is like at Walt Disney World, we have a post here.
