Disney to Reveal Newest Ship During “Once Upon a Disney Wish” Livestream

Work continues to move forward on Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish. While the ship is expected to join the fleet in the summer 2022, on Thursday April 29th it will be revealed to the world via livestream. Once Upon a Disney Wish will be a livestream presented at 11:00 AM ET/8:00 AM PT that will give fans a first look at the ship and the some of the magical spaces that will be found aboard her.

The livestream will be shared on the Disney Parks Blog. It will include a look at how technology is being used to bring the ship to life. It will also include magical entertainment moments, Disney friends, and a look at all of the spaces and adventures to be found aboard the ship. A virtual invitation was released today ahead of the event on Thursday morning.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, this virtual event will last 30 minutes. During this time, along with all that was mentioned before, some behind the scenes looks at the ship with Disney Imagineers and the creative time will be included. It also promises to include “special character appearances and surprise performances.” Expect it to be a half hour that is filled with magic.

The Disney Wish is the newest ship to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet, but won’t be the last. Fans are encouraged to register for this virtual event and then receive a free virtual background. DAPS MAGIC will continue to cover this story and provide updates on it as they become available.
