Time to Expand? – DISNEY Reporter

Welcome to the DISNEY Reporter! Every week your Disney reporter Mr. DAPs highlights to top five stories of the week from the Disney and geek worlds. This week, there are some pretty significant stories that are covered.

First off, the Disneyland Resort unveiled a proposal for possibilities regarding a substantial expansion for the resort. If approved by the City of Anaheim, the expansion would include expansion to the parks, more parking, and a Disney entertainment/dining district. Over on Disney+, it was also a big week. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier made the biggest debut for a series on the streaming service. A National Treasure series was also given a green light for Disney’s streaming service. Next, Kermit the Frog was on hand this week when the Rainbow Connection was recognized by the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress. Finally, Disney has rearranged its summer release schedule for this summer. Black Widow now is being released in July and will also be offered with Premiere Access on Disney+. Luca is also going straight to Disney+ now with no additional charge.
