“Gamers For CHOC” Come Together for Children’s Hospital of Orange County

Can you believe CHOC Walk is just over a month away? This annual event brings big hearts together as participants raise money for the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. To help reach this year’s $2 million goal, gaming companies have established “Gamers for CHOC,” which raises money in a whole new way!

This new initiative will be ongoing until Saturday, March 20, 2021, the date of the virtual CHOC Walk in the Park! The teams are comprised of employees, players, and communities from local games-related studios, businesses, organizations, and groups. Here is the full list of companies participating:

This new fundraising initiative brings out the friendly competitive gaming spirit by posting leaderboards with stats on who has raised the most! Caitie Bear originally came to DAPs Magic through Geeks Corner. The resident coffee expert, her run with DAPs Magic began with teaching Mr. DAPs and the team how to taste coffee on Geeks Corner. She soon became the resident coffee consultant for special segments before finding herself joining the Geeks Corner team. She now is one of the co-hosts for the webshow and can regularly be found either on the Geeks Corner set or at Disneyland with the DAPs crew. Caitie also now writes for DAPs Magic. She not only covers style for the website, she also covers events and offers Disney tips from her experience as a Disney Annual Passholder.
