Today the Disneyland Resort unveiled a new photo op for Legacy Passholders. The photo location is themed to WandaVision and allows for photos to be taken both through a television screen/frame or behind the television on Wanda and Vision’s couch. The location recreates the early episodes of WandaVision, which is currently streaming on Disney+. For Legacy Passholders to experience this, they simply had to show their old Annual Pass and also a photo i.d. It will be opened to all guests on February 6, 2021.
There is no Disney photographer on hand and Cast Members cannot help with phones or cameras due to safety protocols surrounding COVID-19. However, there are still possibilities for photos without another person in your group being your photographer. Behind the TV screens that photos can be framed with, there is a groove where a phone can be placed. Simply put the timer on, let it go, get in place, and voila, you’ve got a picture of yourself in the location!
Just outside of the photo op, Marvel merchandise is being sold. Also, for Legacy Passholders WandaVision posters were being given out. To get a poster, an Annual Pass and photo i.d. had to be shown to cast members. This is one of the perks currently being offered to Legacy Passholders as the Disneyland Resort transitions to a new membership system.
The opening of this photo location coincided with Disney reopening several of its dining locations on Buena Vista Street. This included Carthay Circle Lounge – Alfresco Dining (get your reservations now!), Award Weiners, and Smokejumpers Grill. There are also outdoor vending locations offering snacks and drinks as well.
