Disney Cruise Line Vacations Canceled Through Last Months of 2020

This week, Cruise Lines International Association made a tough but necessary decision. They have called off all cruising for the rest of 2020, which would include Disney Cruise Line vacations.

The choice to suspend cruising through December 31 was made voluntarily. The association noted that this pause “will provide additional time to align the industry’s extensive preparation of health protocols with the implementation requirements under the CDC’s Framework for Conditional Sailing and Initial Phase COVID-19 Testing Requirements for Protection of Crew.”

Of course, the Cruise Lines International Association wants to operate with safety and care in mind. Ships are often noted for passing illness quickly through its cabins and the association, as well as the cruise lines, want to operate as safely as possible.

While Disney Cruise Line vacations will be canceled through the rest of the year, we know that when they set sail again, they will be a shining example of safety! Currently, Walt Disney World has been operating safely since July, and the restrictions have helped protect guests visiting. You can read about Mr.  DAPS trip to Walt Disney World Resort here.
