‘Disney Genie’ Coming to Vacation-Planning Guests of Walt Disney World in 2020

Disney Genie

This weekend at D23 Expo, Disney brought us an incredible amount of announcements. The Disney Parks, Resorts, and Experiences panel always brings so much excitement about the future of Disney for fans. This year, Bob Chapek announced “Disney Genie”, a new tool to help Walt Disney World guests plan the perfect vacation!

Disney Genie will come to guests phones in late 2020, just in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary. The app will create personalized itineraries based on your interests and give time frames to help make each day a breeze. Whether you want to conquer the adventures of Disney’s Animal Kingdom or adventure around the world at Epcot, this special travel tool will make your vacation absolutely perfect for you and your family!

Whether it’s your first time heading to Walt Disney World Resort or you’ve been many times, this app will be able to help you make memories without getting too caught up in the planning. One of the best parts is that it’s flexible! If you change your mind about any of your plans, you can easily move things around in the Disney Genie app to make the most out of your trip! Check out the whole video of the announcement from Bob Chapek below!

I think that this is an absolutely incredible update that is coming to Disney guests. While we have been to Walt Disney World Resort quite a few times, our days can still become overwhelming. We are incredibly familiar with the systems and how to make the most out of special trips out to Orlando but this would take all the pressure off of the process before we even make it out! I can’t wait to see how it is implemented in late 2020!
