It’s a good day for the God of Thunder. Today, The Hollywood Reporter officially announced that Taika Waititi is lined up to direct the upcoming “Thor 4!” This is great news for fans of the third installment of Marvel Studios’ “Thor” series, as Waititi took on the role as both writer and director of “Thor: Ragnarok.”
Waititi is beloved by Marvel fans for creating a Thor film that was consistent with films he had made in the past. Talk to any fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and they will most likely tell you that Ragnarok is not only action-packed but also full of great fun and wit. While fans love the character of Thor himself, the previous two films in the series hadn’t performed nearly as well. With the third film bringing in almost $854 million worldwide and 93 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, we are sure that this follow-up will be just what fans are looking for.
Chris Hemsworth is also expected to return to the franchise as the God of Thunder himself. We can’t wait to see Hemsworth have another chance to show off his comedic timing in the Marvel Universe. Maybe we’ll even see the “Asgardians of the Galaxy” reunited. No matter what the circumstances are, we can’t wait to see this partnership between Hemsworth and Taiki Waititi come to life yet again!
