Disney California Adventure Brings Back Returning Favorites and Looks Ahead with New Construction

World of Color has returned to Disney California Adventure, but that isn’t the only notable thing happening in the park! The 2019 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival starts on Friday, March 1st. Festival booths are popping up, and guests can get a sneak peek at some of the menu items they’ll be able to sample.

While there is no opening date yet, Jessie’s Critter Carousel is progressing nicely, and has started to test the lights at night. Over by Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: Breakout!, you can see prominent icons of the park, now that A Bug’s Land has been demolished to make way for the upcoming Marvel Land. You can see Cars Land, parts of Pixar Pier, Grizzly Peak, and Carthay Circle now!

The biggest newsworthy item to note is the return of World of Color! It has been missed by many, and it’s wonderful to have a nighttime show back in DCA. Its official opening date isn’t until March 1st, but FastPasses are available to guests for the nighttime spectacular. Dining and dessert packages are also available online. The show is just as spectacular as you remember, although there are no new elements. You can check out our video of the shows return on YouTube!
