Get Your First Look into Marvel’s Spider-Man: Far From Home with New Teaser Trailer

Earlier this week, a fan on Twitter begged Tom Holland to drop the trailer for this summer’s Spider-Man film and the Marvel star said that he would see what he could do. Early this morning, Marvel dropped a trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home!

The trailer picks up where Homecoming left off, with Peter Parker unsure about his position as Spider-Man and his future. As his packs for a school trip for Europe, he debates not even bringing his suit along. Parker even argues with Aunt May as he tried to defend his right to just be a normal kid. What could possibly be happening in Europe that our friendly neighbor Spider-Man would have to jump in?

As he is off enjoying simply being Peter Parker, we see an old Marvel friend jump into the mix. Nick Fury drops in on the European vacation to make sure that Spider-Man is using his talents to help protect the world. The interest to Peter is that not only will he be protecting the innocent but he will also be protecting the lives of his friends and making sure they all make it back to Queens safely.

One of the biggest surprises of the teaser is the appearance of Mysterio, played by Jake Gyllenhaal. This illusionist from the comics is so powerful that often times, even some of our favorite supers are fooled by his powers. He is able to blend the lines between reality and fantasy and we get to see him in action in this teaser trailer. The biggest question after the trailer becomes, “Is Mysterio the big bad villain or an ally to Spider-Man?”

We definitely can’t wait until this movie hits theaters on July 5, 2019! Be sure to check out the full trailer below and let us know what you think!
