Disney Skyliner

Destination D Gives A Much Closer Look At The Disney Skyliner

This weekend at Destination D: Celebration Mickey Mouse a closer look was given for the Disney Skyliner. Once in operation, this will be a transportation system that will allow guests to fly through the sky to various locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.  At the Destination D event, Disney fans were able to see an up-close look at the gondolas that will be utilized for the Disney Skyliner.

Once operational in the fall of 2019, the Disney Skyliner will not only transport guests around the Walt Disney World Resort. It will also allow some incredible views from the skies above. The Disney Skyliner will transport guests between Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot to four resort hotels: Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort along with the proposed 15th Disney Vacation Club property, Disney’s Riviera Resort.

Select gondolas will also feature Disney characters as a part of their exterior design. This will give the appearance of these characters riding along with the guests inside! Characters will include the fab five, favorite Disney movie characters, Disney attractions characters, and more!

What do you think of this closer look at the Disney Skyliner gondola? Are you excited for this to arrive at Walt Disney World Resort next year? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
