Entertainment Weekly Unveils Cover of Brie Larson as Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel still might not be in theaters until next year, but she is starting to show up in magazines! Today, Entertainment Weekly released the cover showcasing her. It is part of a full magazine being released this week. This comes after a set visit to Captain Marvel by Entertainment Weekly. Take a look at the cover here:

Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, a fighter pilot. Somewhere before the events of Avengers: Infinity War, she will become Captain Marvel. Presumably, this movie will explain just that. The movie will not only introduce this new superhero but also reintroduce so old fan favorites. A much younger Nick Fury and Phil Coulson will be returning. They will again be played by Samuel Jackson and Clark Gregg.

At some point in the course of the movie (that takes place in the 90s), Danvers will find herself not being a fighter pilot anymore but a superhero. She will be fighting Skrulls led by Talos, played by Ben Mendelsohn. As she battles to save the earth, she will also be trying to explore questions of her past. You can read more about Captain Marvel at Entertainment Weekly here.
