Minnie Van - Walt Disney World Resort

Walt Disney World Resort Expands Minnie Van Services to All Visitors

Last summer the Walt Disney World Resort introduced its Minnie Van program. This allowed guests staying at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club and Disney’s Boardwalk Resort to be picked up and taken around the Walt Disney World Resort. Now, this service has been expanded to everyone at the Walt Disney World Resort. This is done through the use of the Lyft app.

With the expansion of the Minnie Van service, guests can now transport between theme parks, resorts, and even Disney Springs. It gives guests the ability to summon a Minnie Van with their phone via the Lyft app. A van will be there quickly to pick up guests and take them where they want to go.

Disney’s Minnie Van’s are driven by specially trained Disney Cast Members. The vans are roomy and comfortable. They are generally just a few minutes away from any location at the Walt Disney World Resort.

In order to use this service, follow these directions:

  • Download the Lyft app to your phone.
  • Open it from anywhere at the Walt Disney World Resort.
  • Select the Minnie Van service option.
  • Confirm current pickup location.
  • Enter your Walt Disney World destination location.
  • Tap “Request.”
  • The app will display a map with where your Minnie Van is along with the van number so you can identify it when it arrives.

With the Minnie Van working through the Lyft app, the whole process can be taken care of through your phone on the app. The ride can both be requested and also paid for there. Then within minutes, you’ll be on your way to your next magical experience!

The Minnie Van service is currently available from 6:30 AM to 12:30 AM (hours are subject to change). What do you think of this service? Have you used it since it has been expanded? Let us know what you thought of it in the comments below!
