Lost and Found Gets More Magical for Guests at the Walt Disney World Resort

Having to visit Lost and Found can be a frustrating thing when visiting a Disney Theme Park. Walt Disney World is trying to take some of the frustration out of this process. Instead, it hopes to infuse some magic. This week it was announced on the Disney Parks Blog that the Walt Disney World Resort has created a new online tool for Lost and Found. The new system will allow guests to go online to report a lost item. It will then keep guests updated about the search via email.

The new online Lost and Found service is available for anything that is lost at any of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, water parks, Disney Springs, ESPN Wide World of Sports or on Disney transportation services. Simply visit DisneyWorld.com/lostandfound, put in the information about your lost item, and leave the rest up to Disney! Periodic updates will be sent to your email while you are enjoying Walt Disney World. If needed, the updates will continue after you have gone home. The whole process can be done on any smart device or computer.

Lost and Found Steps

  1. Log into DisneyWorld.com/lostandfound on your smartphone or online capable device.
  2. Enter the information about your lost item.
  3. Fill out your contact information.
  4. Submit!

Here’s a video demonstrating the process:
