Disney Parks has a Play app that will make wait times more entertaining for guests. But what do you do when you’re outside of the lines and want that Disney magic?
In addition to the Play app, Disney Music has released Playlists on Apple Music that bring together several songs corresponding to the parks of the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort. Some have actual ride tracks released on albums.
The lands and parks that have playlists are:
- Magic Kingdom – Tomorrowland
- Magic Kingdom – Main Street
- Magic Kingdom – Frontierland/Liberty Square
- Magic Kingdom – Fantasyland
- Magic Kingdom – Adventureland
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Frozen Ever After
- Epcot – World Showcase
- Epcot – Future World
- Happily Ever After
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Disneyland – Tomorrowland
- Disneyland – Frontierland
- Disneyland – Adventureland
- World of Color
- Hollywood Land
- Grizzly Peak
- Cars Land
- Buena Vista Street
The best way I would describe these playlists is that they are “inspired by” the park areas they represent. World of Color and Happily Ever After have full movie tracks that are in order of where they are in the shows. They’re not actual soundtracks of the shows, but serve as a sort of placeholder.
Aside from the playlists not being exact soundtracks, there are some gems in the listening lists. They are great ways to reminisce about favorite park places.
Unfortunately, the playlists are not available on Spotify (at least as of writing this). Apple Music users can get to these playlists by searching for Disney Music, selecting it under Artists, then look up Playlists from the profile.
Let us know what you think about the music selections in the comments below. And enjoy listening!
