Movie Nights at Downtown Disney District, presented by Honda, are returning beginning this Wednesday, September 9. Movie Nights were also held in 2025 and proved to be super popular. They were also a great way to spend a night with family and friends.
This week’s movie is the 2021 live-action movie Cruella starring Emma Stone.
Cruella is based on Dodie Smith’s 1956 novel One Hundred and One Dalmatians, which serves as the backstory for its antagonist, Cruella de Vil. This movie serves as a prequel to the 1996 film 101 Dalmatians. Set in London, this film follows Estella Miller, an aspiring fashion designer, as she explores the path that leads her to become a notorious up-and-coming designer known as Cruella de Vil. Cruella is rated PG-13.
Movie Nights will be presented on Wednesdays in September and October. Exact dates are September 9, 16, 23, and 30, and October 7, 14, 21, and 28.
In 2025, Hocus Pocus, Hocus Pocus 2, Frankenweenie, and Haunted Mansion were among the movies shown.
The movies will be presented on the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage lawn on the west end near the main entrance to the Downtown Disney District.
