Learn More About the Immersive Star Wars Resort from a Galaxy Far, Far Way Coming to Walt Disney World Resort

Last summer, the dream to immerse yourself further into the Star Wars universe became one step closer to becoming a reality! At D23, attendees were delighted to find out the Walt Disney World Resort was getting an exciting new hotel expansion, one that would be an extension of Galaxy’s Edge, opening later this year. Today, Disney released new details that are sure to make Star Wars fans thrilled to see what’s to come!

The Florida resort has announced the location for this new experience, which is currently under development on the South side of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be the home to Galaxy’s Edge, opening in October of this year, and will allow Walt Disney World guests the opportunity to experience Star Wars for themselves! The location of the new hotel will allow guests to seamlessly experience Star Wars, from hotel stay to park visit!

This hotel will be the very first of its kind, and will surely be a vacation to never forget! Families are invited to step upon a starship with stunning views of space and experience new characters and stories every single day! Guests are invited to climb aboard for multiple days to get the true experience and delve into the world of Star Wars. On top of the experience, guests will be welcome to dress as a member of the galaxy in their favorite Star Wars-inspired attire and explore!

What are you the most excited to see from this new experience in Walt Disney World?
