There is a new place to stop and enjoy your favorite California offerings in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. BaseLine Tap is now open at the Walt Disney World Resort park. It has a collection of California beers, wines, pretzels and cheese on hand that are sure to be enjoyed. It is basically a corner pub that celebrates modern-day Los Angeles in the new area being called Grand Avenue.
The story for BaseLine Tap is that it is built in what was formerly the Figueroa Printing Company. This was a small company run by a mom and pop couple who worked with Disney Studios back in the day. The building celebrates its history and blends that old with some new.
For those wondering where this is found in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it is in the former Writer’s Stop bookstore. This was at the end of what was once the Streets of America. This is right next to the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant.
Once inside, there are quite a few different drink options to enjoy. The pub features beer and wines from the Golden State of California. It features craft ales, lagers and cider as the stars of the drink menu, along with California wines on tap and specialty cocktails. There is also a gourmet non-alcoholic lemonade and soda available. For beer fans, there are customizable beer flights, with up to 126 possible combinations of craft beers! On top of the drinks there are also food options like the Bavarian Pretzel served with mustard and beer-cheese fondue dipping sauces, spiced almonds and a charcuterie board highlighting delicious California cheeses.
