Hi everyone! Kellie here and I’m the creator of Pretty Little Bakers. I post weekly desserts that anyone can bake! In my kitchen, it’s all about simplicity and cute, fun-sized sweets. And as my first blog for DAPsMagic, I thought it would be more than appropriate to start off with an easy treat in honor of Captain America: Civil War.
It’s the movie we’ve all been waiting for since the announcement of the future Marvel films that are to be released in the coming years. Captain America: Civil War is finally hitting North American theaters this Friday! How will you celebrate?
Here’s an idea… with Captain America cake pops! These cake pops are decorated to resemble Steve Rogers’ shield. Cake pops are already a bundle of joy but when you can turn them into something Marvel-themed, DAY MADE!!
Ever wondered how to make cake pops? You simply take one baked cake (cooled to room temperature), crumble it into pieces, add frosting, and roll into balls! But we’re taking this glorious creation one step further by dipping it in red, white, and blue chocolate, and adding a white star for the center of Cap’s shield.
Watch the video above to see how to make Captain America cake pops!
These cake pops are extremely moist and doughy, they taste like cake batter, yes, it might have something to do with the fact that I used Funfetti cake mix. 😛
Now, you may have already chosen who’s side you’re on (#TeamCap/#TeamIronMan), but at the end of the day, this movie is about to turn into a full on battle of superheroes. Let the clash of the titans begin!
