Disneyland’s Big Thunder Ranch Animals Find New Home in Murrieta

This coming weekend will mark the last days to visit the animals at the Big Thunder Ranch Petting Farm. As most of you know, the back area of Disneyland park, including the Big Thunder Ranch area and the Rivers of America, will be closed as the resort starts construction on the new Star Wars themed land.

Disney Parks Blog has since then shared that these popular critters have already found a new home. All of your animal pals will soon venture onto a new life in Murrieta.

As we prepare to wish our Disneyland goats a fond farewell, we’re happy to announce that they have found a wonderful forever home on a farm in Murrieta, Calif. The farm’s owner, Jenelle, already cares for four former Disneyland goats on her farm: Jane, Lilo, Medusa and Penny. We spoke with Jenelle recently, and her love for our Disneyland goats is abundant. She’s looking forward to welcoming all the goats (and our sheep and donkeys, too)! Click on the video below to meet Jenelle and see the farm where the all the Disneyland goats will scamper and play together beneath beautiful open skies.

Not trying to get too personal but visiting the goats had to be one of my favorite parts of the park. I am truly going miss them. January 10th will mark their last day at the resort. Be sure to say goodbye!
