Disneyland Resort to Present ‘Disneyland Forever’ Twice a Night During Thanksgiving Week

Thanksgiving week at the Disneyland Resort is sure to be a fun one. This year, Thanksgiving falls on November 26. The resort will have extended park hours as well as extra entertainment showings.

The Orange County Register reports that Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary fireworks, Disneyland Forever, will be shown twice a night during the holiday week. From November 21 – 28, guests can enjoy the fireworks at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. The article goes on to say that the additional firework showing was approved by the Anaheim fire marshal.

As to why a second showing, Anaheim spokesman, Mike Lyster was quoted by the OC Register saying, “Disney is seeking to determine if additional entertainment and an earlier fireworks show … will improve the flow of the guests through the parks. Anaheim has a vested interest in Disney’s efforts to manage demand, which helps lessen impacts on the areas around the Disneyland Resort.”

In addition, guests can enjoy two showings a day of A Christmas Fantasy parade, Fantasmic! and Paint the Night parade.
