Looks like Disney has added another live action film to the list. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a film based on the “Night on Bald Mountain” sequence from Fantasia is said to be produced.
The 1940’s animated film features a variety of stories. In this case, “Night on Bald Mountain” stars the famous Chernabog.
According to the article, Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless will write a script for the proposed live action film as well as executive produce. The film is said to have a similar feel to that of the live action Maleficent. Previous work for the duo includes Universal’s Dracula Untold and Summit’s The Last Witch Hunter.
