Live Action 'Winnie the Pooh' Film In the Works

Here is another one to add to the list of live action films Disney is to produce. Just as a side note, this is not an April Fools’ joke. The Hollywood Reporter has issued an article stating that Disney will create a live action Winnie the Pooh film.

(Disney Enterprises Inc.)

According to the article, Disney has in fact hired Alex Ross Perry to write the film. Perry is known for writing and directing indie film, Listen Up Philip.

Currently, this film is still in the early stages production. The article states, “In the new version, Christopher Robin, Winnie’s human pal, will return as an adult to revisit Pooh’s hangout in the Hundred Acre Wood.”

Stay tuned for incoming information on the film’s date of release and cast.
