Marvel New York Comic-Con Panels Continue

Marvel keeps teasing at revealing all the new Marvel NOW! stuff in comics.  So far hints have been given for post Battle of the Atom X-Men and new Avengers initiatives.  Today, more hinting at what will happen with Avengers, and a very bleak headline for Superior Spider-Man have been revealed.

My thought is that Avengers will become a corporate, global team, with “franchises” around the world.  With Spider-Man, there are confirmations that Miles Morales, the Spider-Man from the Ultimate universe, is making his way to the main Marvel-verse.  He replaced Peter Parker in that world, it could be that he’ll replace Parker/Doc Ock Spider-Man in the main one.

Below is the press release, and leave a comment for what you think is happening.

All-New Marvel NOW! starts here! The reveals begin at New York Comic-Con!

  1. At first I didn’t think what Marvel had planned was very epic, but even with these teases being cryptic I think we may see the end of Peter Parker as Spider-Man in any comic form, and an interesting form of the Avengers. The X-Men may see the return of some thought dead characters, which is as the saying goes “Nobody stays dead in comics, except Uncle Ben!”
