Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest is a tradition that many have when they ring in the New Year. At home and at parties, this program is often used to count down until midnight. Traditionally, this has been only available on ABC. This year, however, Disney announced that Ryan Seacrest and company will also be seen live on Disney+ as well. This is the first time that the program has been aired on Disney’s streaming service.

Along with announcing that Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2027 would be streamed on Disney+ this year, Disney also shared that Ryan Seacrest will be returning again to host the program. Comedian and actor Druski will be joining as the Chicago co-host. Rita Ora will return to co-host from New York’s Times Square. On top of that, performer and Dancing with the Stars host Julianne Hough will be returning as the Las Vegas host with former NFL star Rob Gronkowski.
The program will ring in the new year with 42 featured performers and nearly 100 songs that will be performed across New York City’s Times Square, Las Vegas, Chicago, Puerto Rico, Nashville, Kansas City, and beyond. This telecast will be the longest in the show’s five-decade history. This year, the celebration will last for eight years.
Disney promises that more details will be revealed in the coming months leading up to New Year’s Eve. What do you think of what has been announced so far? What do you think of the program being simulcast on Disney+ with ABC? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
