One of the big things to stare at over in Disney California Adventure is the Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout being transformed from the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.  Some of the scaffolding is off and more is revealed as far as color scheme and decorative elements.  It also makes the building more visible from various places in the park.

Food and Wine continues to steam along with more demonstrations, and a few more signs.

Spring flowers continue to bloom around the Disneyland Resort, which makes for beautiful backgrounds of common scenes of photos.  This may be one of the most beautiful times of year with the flora and fauna around.

Characters are always out, but it’s nice to see Nick and Judy from Zootopia around more for photos and autographs.  They were located near the Little Mermaid attraction.

Of course the big event this weekend was Pirates of the Caribbean’s 50th anniversary.  Churros and beignets were the big ticket items with long lines to obtain the food.  Other culinary treats were offered around New Orleans Square as well.  The attraction itself kept good sized lines throughout the weekend, making it one of the more popular rides these last few days.

The recently refurbished attraction was a welcome opening when there is still much construction and refurbishment around the park.  A few rides will be open this week, like Grizzly River Run on Thursday.  School spring breaks have started, which has made the parks a bit busy the last few days.  But, it is still a nice time to visit with the beautiful atmosphere and Food and Wine going on.

We’ll keep having updates, so be sure to check back again soon!
