Welcome to GEEKS CORNER! This week there is a lot of ground to cover with new things in the parks and coming to the parks…and beyond.
On a rainy Monday night, the new projection show at the Disneyland Resort debuted. A montage accompanied song We Don’t Talk About Bruno on the front of it’s a small world. The DAPS MAGIC team was on hand to film the new show. In the other park, Mr. Knight is now making nightly appearances in Avengers Campus, as is Moon Knight.
Over in EPCOT, cast member costumes were revealed for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This came just days after Kermit the Frog brought green to Spaceship Earth. Both were moments showing the excitement that is happening at EPCOT.
Finally, a new documentary about Jim Henson is in the works by Ron Howard. The GEEKS chat about what they hope this will be like when it eventually arrives.
We hope you enjoyed this week’s GEEKS CORNER! Take a few moments to share your thoughts and opinions in the comments! We’ll see you in the corner!

welcome to geek's corner i'm mr naps i'm
0:25
katie and we're excited that you're here
0:27
for a week that's been very weird
0:31
whether it be 105 degrees exactly where
0:33
i was going 65 degrees yes um
0:37
anyway go to geekscore.live and tell us
0:39
where the weather what the weather is
0:40
like where you are and most what it's
0:42
been like in the last week and most
0:44
importantly something i want to like
0:47
personally
0:47
[Music]
0:49
test the waters i want to know
0:52
i pointed out earlier this week on
0:54
twitter that they are using mission
0:55
breaking your toes they are using
0:58
mission breakout as the icon of disney
1:01
california adventure park
1:04
i disagree with that
1:06
um
1:06
wholeheartedly
1:08
i think the icon of dca should be
1:10
grizzly peak
1:12
which is very dca 1.0 of me i recognize
1:15
that but you have to when you're
1:16
thinking about what is an icon for a
1:18
park what represents the entirety of the
1:21
park and i actually agree with you that
1:23
i don't think mission breakout
1:24
represents the entirety of the
1:26
california adventure the newest part
1:28
yeah of california venture it mentions
1:30
maybe progress and and new things um
1:35
and it's like in the background it is
1:37
it's mission breakout and in the
1:38
background it is flows
1:41
and grizzly peak um i see pixar pal
1:43
around as a which is what it used to be
1:46
it used to be carthage and fun wheel
1:49
kind of at the same time which i
1:51
actually i i could see an argument for
1:53
carthage in particular and that if we're
1:55
just picking one though you'd have to
1:57
pick one and i could see an argument for
1:59
carthage with the the history
2:01
and the story of walt disney coming to
2:03
california and how they really with dca
2:06
2.0 tried to um really create that
2:10
walt came to california and dreams came
2:12
true
2:13
yes with the suitcase in a dream and i
2:15
think that's that's fair and that's a
2:17
good argument um i also do think though
2:19
that um
2:20
grizzly peak
2:22
still is a very good
2:24
um
2:25
icon because it's a sense of adventure
2:28
it's a sense of
2:30
like that doesn't have to animal
2:33
it's west
2:34
it's california um
2:36
also like
2:38
they designed a mountain to look like a
2:41
bear that's great um i do think the only
2:45
problem with that if it was to be
2:48
um grizzly peak
2:51
the issue is that the trees in the last
2:53
21 years have grown they're a little bit
2:56
bigger very heavily so it's kind of hard
2:58
to see i think that most guests who go
3:00
to dca now might not even know that it's
3:03
there maybe jump jump jelly jump jump
3:06
jelly if they're not looking for it
3:07
though um also red car trolley is if
3:10
you're on the right place you can see it
3:12
pretty well but it's just not it's
3:14
it's not as easy to find as it was yeah
3:16
um red car trolley is a fun idea um
3:20
grizzly peak is most iconic in uh
3:24
gigantic orange i also really liked the
3:27
dca 1.0 imagery of like the uh paradise
3:30
pier how about a giant hanger mala
3:34
boomer how about first hear me out a
3:36
plane coming out of a restaurant there
3:39
you go i liked that one call it
3:41
taste pilots
3:43
um
3:44
no anyway i just really wanted to put
3:46
this out into the world because i don't
3:50
i said i don't know how i feel about
3:51
mission breakout i don't think i like it
3:53
being the icon of dca i like mission
3:55
breakout and i get quinjet i get that
3:57
it's the tallest thing in the park
4:00
i just don't know how i feel about it
4:02
being the icon okay and i wanna i wanted
4:04
to talk about that on the show because
4:05
it's important and now we have and i
4:08
think it's an interesting conversation
4:09
to have and i think it's probably being
4:11
had at disney too because they they
4:13
change it every once in a while and i i
4:15
actually feel like it's not a what
4:16
should be the icon of the park i feel
4:19
like it's some graphic designer or team
4:21
being like this is cool let's make this
4:24
and um which there's a place for that as
4:27
well and um i think i think the only
4:29
hard thing and i get that dc is the
4:32
little sister to disneyland um but that
4:34
would never happen at disneyland it is
4:36
the castle
4:37
um the castle the castle uh although the
4:40
secondary
4:41
uh like icons on that image that i
4:43
shared it's thunder and it's space which
4:46
makes sense to me too i agree or
4:47
matterhorn
4:49
matter hormone horn is actually very
4:50
iconic for disneyland like but those are
4:53
like secondary imaging it's not like the
4:55
it's also iconic for the real matterhorn
4:57
so that could be a problem
5:00
it's like a real place you can't really
5:01
put it by itself because it'll be like
5:02
oh it would be like where is this
5:05
yeah the alps yeah um
5:07
okay but yes uh also like small world
5:10
would work really well as a second small
5:11
world cup makes sense that actually does
5:13
make sense but i think for simplicity
5:15
standards
5:16
space mountain and thunder make a lot of
5:17
sense speaking of small world though
5:20
let's move into the show and before we
5:22
do that if you've got any disney travel
5:23
in your itinerary in the future check
5:26
out mouse waves travel they will take
5:27
care of you
5:29
and you can just enjoy
5:31
the magic kachow yeah you can do that at
5:33
mouseways.com
5:34
magic or to go to dap's magic anywhere
5:36
and click on travel and they will give
5:38
you a free quote and actually all of
5:40
their services are free as well and they
5:42
do a fantastic job
5:44
back to it's a small world they now have
5:47
nightly about three times
5:49
a projection show on the front of it's a
5:51
small world it is that we don't talk
5:53
about bruno and
5:55
neither does our youtube channel uh in
5:58
fact nobody's youtube channel is
5:59
currently doing that because uh we all
6:01
got flagged on copyright so because it
6:04
is one of the biggest songs right now
6:06
anywhere it is interesting though
6:08
because usually when things go into the
6:09
parks
6:10
that means it's gonna work you think you
6:13
would think but it didn't work so we
6:14
have a muted version of it up so you can
6:17
see what happens
6:19
yeah so if you start it but at the
6:21
beginning it's kind of cool because um
6:23
they kind of have teases of the song
6:25
starting and you see like parts of it's
6:28
a small world fold up and down and like
6:31
coming to life
6:33
and yeah that's fun and um and then it
6:35
actually
6:36
the whole song comes to life and it's
6:39
about four minutes long um something
6:41
like that but uh what do you think of
6:43
them bringing
6:45
this song and this movie into the park
6:48
in this way i think it's really fun
6:50
um i this was something that um
6:54
i was really hoping we're gonna get more
6:56
of
6:57
uh
6:58
thanks jeff thanks jeff uh
7:01
that just made me smile real big um
7:05
yeah i was just hoping we were gonna get
7:06
in kanto in the parks when it came out
7:08
um especially because it didn't get a
7:09
theatrical release sometimes it's kind
7:11
of
7:12
uh a question on if
7:15
i like how fast it was i agree you got
7:18
character
7:19
you know my only complaint with the
7:20
whole thing what is that they don't
7:22
acknowledge that fat cat swinger is
7:25
already bringing the music of the movie
7:28
into the park it's true because marco
7:29
does a fantastic job he does yeah um but
7:33
yeah i'm actually
7:34
excited for how much we've gotten um
7:36
just because
7:37
thinking that turning red did get a lot
7:39
of merchandise but luca didn't get a
7:42
whole lot of representation in the parks
7:44
except for that one photo op in
7:45
california adventure
7:47
um and i think that was
7:49
it
7:50
in some merchandise
7:52
so i was really worried that encanto was
7:54
gonna get a lot but to get something on
7:55
this level of a nighttime production
7:57
show and i would still say luca is still
7:59
my favorite uh animated film in the last
8:02
year
8:03
that's fair
8:05
we've had three right i'm not missing
8:07
are you talking about pixar specifically
8:08
nope from disney or pixar animated so
8:11
encanto turning red um soul
8:14
nope that's a year and a half so it's
8:16
only luca
8:17
time isn't real turning red in the last
8:20
year if i am correct but um i did i
8:23
enjoyed the projection show uh my one
8:26
question mark with the whole thing
8:27
though is the first one's at 9 15
8:30
and i get that in the summer it won't be
8:32
dark until like 9 15.
8:35
but there was lots of people with kids
8:38
and
8:38
and the kids are
8:40
usually kind of getting done around that
8:42
time because
8:43
you think of how many times we've
8:44
watched fireworks up by small world and
8:47
the moment the fireworks are over you
8:48
see all of these families with kids
8:50
heading for the the trams and that's
8:52
kind of the end of their day and um so
8:55
i'm
8:56
i would love to see at least while the
8:58
light allows them to bump a show before
9:01
fireworks at like 8 15. i don't know
9:02
it's going to happen but they have it at
9:04
9 15 10 15 11 15 currently at least
9:07
that's what it looked like last night
9:08
and i'm sure when uh
9:10
park hours change they'll adjust that
9:12
too but i think
9:13
i would just do it more and
9:16
earlier that's fair uh just for the
9:17
families because that to me was just a
9:19
little bit like huh how long have you
9:21
had like four minutes oh so yeah there
9:23
we go you could literally do it every 15
9:25
minutes like they do for
9:28
christmas yes that's what i would do um
9:31
and yes i'm counting turning red because
9:33
it's the last year from today
9:37
last 12 months yes because otherwise i
9:39
get into that weird thing of like do you
9:41
have to include raya do you have to like
9:43
it gets because that was technically in
9:45
2021
9:46
um
9:48
and i wasn't going to throw that into
9:49
the competition
9:51
yeah when was luca what month was luca
9:54
june
9:56
yeah it was i usually get a pixar film
9:59
for my birthday it's a late birthday
10:01
gift but and we were eating um birthday
10:03
candy oh we watched it there you go i
10:06
remember that and uh
10:09
there you go yes i did enjoy lucca um
10:12
the other thing that has arrived at the
10:13
park is not bruno but mr knight who
10:17
followed moon knight
10:19
um into avengers campus and from what i
10:22
can tell mr knight is at the top of the
10:24
hour in the front of the land and moon
10:26
knight is at the bottom of the hour in
10:28
the back of the land up on the uh up by
10:31
the quinjet you know whatever that
10:32
building is the avengers building and uh
10:35
and that starts when things get dark as
10:37
well
10:38
and
10:39
it's so interesting
10:42
seeing both of these characters now in
10:44
this land
10:45
and how different they are and
10:48
yet the same what did you think of
10:50
seeing them
10:51
um one moon night is super creepy
10:55
like he's just up there and he's
10:57
watching everybody and his eyes are
10:58
glowing and you can see him through the
10:59
fog it's it's very spooky it's amazing
11:02
um
11:03
mr knight looks super spooky
11:06
but he's just even with a v he's he's
11:08
really quirky he's fun he's a lot of fun
11:10
and listening to him um just talk to
11:12
guests um
11:15
he's a lot of fun yeah i think the suit
11:17
looks super cool again i just think what
11:19
they're doing with the eyes is really
11:20
neat of like the glowing eyes yes
11:23
um and it's they're doing it very well
11:25
and i think it's really really cool i'm
11:27
really enjoying moon night and so it's
11:29
really fun for me to see these
11:30
characters
11:31
um yeah i actually like that they're
11:34
throwing these characters in so fast and
11:37
i'm curious
11:38
what's gonna happen in what is it three
11:40
weeks when doctor strange comes out like
11:42
is that bye bye moonlight or is that
11:45
like who are we gonna see are we gonna
11:47
get to see
11:48
scarlet witch there we go there we go
11:51
i'm waiting is that is that who's coming
11:53
i'm waiting
11:56
uh
11:57
i had this moment of panic of like no i
12:00
don't know where it is um um
12:02
i
12:03
hope we get scarlet witch i think that'd
12:05
be really funny i think that'd be
12:06
amazing and like we've all been
12:08
patiently waiting so uh my one thing
12:11
with moon knight before we get off this
12:13
topic
12:14
is
12:16
looks awesome yeah
12:18
really great costume yeah
12:20
location
12:22
a little bit unfair for anybody who
12:24
doesn't have a really nice camera
12:26
um
12:28
and it's not i don't know mr knighter
12:30
from moon night moon night okay
12:33
yesterday i actually think is great
12:34
because you can walk up with your phone
12:36
take the picture yes um i do have
12:38
opinions about that location though
12:40
it's weird
12:41
it's a little odd and also um
12:44
[Music]
12:46
if you don't know
12:48
like if you're not in the loop it can
12:50
kind of be hard to kind of figure out
12:52
i think i think
12:54
most things in avengers campus are that
12:56
way though yeah is is they're trying to
12:58
keep it very
12:59
spontaneous yes and so i think that
13:02
actually is
13:03
the pro and the con of avengers campus
13:06
and it's also kind of the repeatability
13:07
in some ways because at the end of the
13:10
day
13:11
in the thousands of people that go into
13:13
the park every day there's there's a
13:14
small group that tends to get clued in
13:16
on everything
13:18
and and so these things work out and um
13:22
and then there's everybody else that
13:24
walks by and they're like oh look who's
13:26
there and then oh look who's there and
13:28
or they see it online and they don't
13:29
exactly know how it's gonna work and so
13:31
then
13:31
the search becomes part of the adventure
13:34
and the repeatability factor i actually
13:36
think comes from that as well
13:38
and um see mr knight could give hugs
13:41
next week but i don't think steven with
13:43
a v is the hugging type
13:46
no i don't i don't think that he would
13:48
hug people maybe if he eats more steak
13:50
um no he ate one steak and look what
13:52
happened exactly uh but anyway yeah
13:55
it'll be interesting to see how avengers
13:58
campus continues to progress with
13:59
characters and um
14:02
i love it i i will wholeheartedly say
14:06
i love how marvel uses their this is
14:08
from their marketing budget if i'm
14:10
understanding correctly
14:11
well and i don't i don't know like
14:13
that's not been officially posted okay
14:16
anyway
14:17
uh that is the rumor is that's what
14:19
they're marketing about is being used
14:20
for anyway i think the way that marvel
14:22
does this is genius
14:25
um and i think that it uh
14:29
it creates a lot of buzz and a lot of
14:31
hype
14:32
and i love it i wish i loved the idea of
14:35
multiverse strangers like all of them
14:36
coming out of the same that'd be so
14:38
scary
14:39
um the thing that also makes me wish
14:41
though is we got this great
14:44
you know character experience two
14:46
characters experiences from this one
14:48
show um we've gotten
14:50
shangshi we've gotten
14:52
uh spider-man like we've gotten a lot of
14:55
really great character interactions that
14:57
are new and not new
14:59
and
15:01
very relevant i guess is a good way to
15:02
put it in avengers campus
15:04
what it makes me want
15:07
i think you want to say what i was going
15:08
to say
15:09
obi-wan kenobi comes out there it is
15:12
month and a half
15:14
so i want to see obi-wan kenobi i want
15:17
to see um
15:19
i don't know the inquisitor would be
15:20
really cool can you imagine how
15:22
terrifying it'd be to see the inquisitor
15:24
walk off of the thai echelon at night in
15:26
galaxy's edge so this is the story of
15:30
of um or the tale if you will of two
15:32
different storytelling styles um yes
15:35
star wars galaxy's edge really attempted
15:37
to tell this very intricate story of
15:40
this is attempting
15:42
this is the yeah this is the uh very
15:45
specific time that this takes place
15:47
here's why you would never see darth
15:49
vader here's why you would never see
15:51
these characters an avengers campus goes
15:54
heehee frat house all supers
15:56
um and i think that that is the win
15:59
because if you have a fan of marvel they
16:00
go i want to go to this land and see the
16:02
characters dumbest thing about it is
16:05
star wars has a mechanism to fix that
16:09
is this the the portal the portal thing
16:11
like the portals are there they can do
16:15
so much bailey i would not be surprised
16:17
if you get your andor trailer when we're
16:19
at star wars celebration next month
16:22
which happy to report we will be
16:24
reporting from star wars celebration
16:26
because i did get my press pass i won't
16:28
be alone i was a little bit worried i
16:30
bought my ticket in 2019 but i i would
16:33
not be surprised if we get that um there
16:36
and i think it's it's
16:38
even like i see clocky talk about star
16:40
tours is they've already opened up the
16:43
gate a little bit
16:44
you might as well just run with it like
16:45
i think there would be a lot to gain
16:48
and there's a lot of space to be used
16:50
the way avengers campus uses their space
16:52
like remember when troopers used to be
16:53
up by the falcon
16:55
like up on that yeah space you could put
16:57
the mandalorian there like anybody who's
17:00
patrolling and he could be looking for
17:03
bounties and oh there's so many ways to
17:06
tell a really really cool stories i
17:08
think the problem is
17:10
galaxy's edges technically canon whereas
17:13
avengers campus is not and and that at
17:16
the end of the day is where the
17:17
complication arises
17:19
all right we're gonna move right along
17:20
head on over to epcot where we today got
17:23
to see the costumes for guardians of the
17:25
galaxy cosmic rewind and uh those people
17:29
who really enjoy what tesla and um
17:34
what was the thing you mixed it with
17:36
tesla uh it looks like tesla and uh the
17:38
web costume web costume see i didn't
17:40
catch the web part but the tesla thing i
17:42
was like huh it kind of reminds me the
17:44
tesla logo uh tesla and as our friend
17:46
ivy pointed out on twitter perry the
17:48
platypus
17:49
oh now i'm liking them even better um
17:53
maybe yeah that is kind of fun but uh it
17:55
came from a cast member preview that
17:57
they're having actually it's a they call
17:58
it a zander expo or something or
18:00
zandorian expo
18:03
at
18:04
epcot for
18:05
cast members and um
18:08
what do you think
18:10
other than tesla and
18:13
avengers campus
18:15
i kind of think the costumes are a
18:17
little boring
18:19
so katie does not like them no i don't i
18:22
also
18:24
i'm weighing if i should say this but
18:25
i'm going to um sorry if i offend you i
18:28
don't like the web costumes see that's
18:30
where we disagree i love all of the
18:32
other costumes and avengers campus i
18:34
think that the um sanctum costumes
18:36
particularly are one of the best
18:38
costumes on property i think they're
18:40
super rad
18:41
um
18:43
i just don't love
18:44
the web costumes okay
18:47
um and these remind me a lot of that um
18:51
aesthetic
18:54
so yeah i don't love them they might
18:56
grow on me they might when i see them in
18:58
person but i think that
19:00
with a costume it should be adding to
19:02
the storytelling which to webb's credit
19:04
it does
19:05
i just don't see these
19:07
telling a story
19:09
and i think they do
19:11
these costumes yeah okay they throw you
19:14
back in time i immediately went 80s
19:16
which i don't know if that's going to be
19:17
intentional or not but a lot of the
19:19
music
19:20
yeah could fit in there um but it
19:22
reminded me 80s it reminded me a little
19:24
bit of some of the old i think it was
19:25
star tours costumes um it had that kind
19:28
of throwback look to me i actually liked
19:31
the cut of the jacket i was kind of like
19:33
oh let's get rid of the the logo and
19:36
stuff and just give me the jacket like
19:37
that would be kind of fun
19:39
and um
19:41
and it
19:42
it also is
19:44
i think there's a risk sometimes with
19:47
something like this
19:49
where if they made the costume too
19:52
intricate and too over the top
19:55
people would get caught up too much in
19:56
the costumes on the other side of where
19:58
they're at right now as opposed to
20:02
really i kind of feel like
20:04
if this is supposed to be about the
20:06
people of zandar and the world of xandar
20:09
and the pavilion of all this stuff um
20:12
the cast members really at the end of
20:14
the day almost need to blend in a little
20:16
bit more as opposed to being and i could
20:18
be completely wrong on this but i would
20:20
imagine they blend in a little bit more
20:22
as opposed to being
20:23
front and central to the story
20:25
um the guardians are front and central
20:27
to the story yes so um i don't know i i
20:29
kind of think yeah there's a little bit
20:30
of space mountain uh
20:32
past uh uniform that's that's a good
20:34
point and um so i'll be i'll be very
20:37
interesting to
20:39
like it'll come down to me like when we
20:41
go through it the first time
20:44
who knows when that'll be right um will
20:47
it add to the story detract to the story
20:50
or will it just kind of be one of those
20:52
supporting things that you really don't
20:53
even notice which would also be a win to
20:56
me like i agree the
20:58
adding to it or not noticing it to me is
20:59
a win if it's distracting and pulling
21:01
you out of what's going on because
21:03
you're like huh that costume looks like
21:05
tesla like if that's what you're
21:06
thinking of instead of
21:07
um
21:08
cosmic rewind it might be and my hope is
21:12
is that like
21:13
i love the ad like i just think it's
21:17
really fun it brings marvel guardians it
21:20
feels like it's an epcot like it just
21:22
has that
21:24
really good blend between the mcu and
21:27
and epcot which is a really weird thing
21:29
to be saying but
21:31
i love that and i think it's really fun
21:33
and i went from being like okay well
21:34
this will be fun whatever to
21:37
i can't wait to see to go on this
21:39
attraction and it just looks
21:42
like we love mission breakout and i feel
21:44
like this is gonna be
21:47
what if you start from ground zero
21:50
and you're gonna make a guardian's
21:51
attraction this is what you get
21:53
and so i think there's just so much
21:55
potential here that i'm
21:57
i would not be surprised if it becomes
21:59
one of the most popular disney
22:00
attractions which they keep doing that
22:02
with their new attractions so
22:04
now this will be a huge guess here this
22:06
will be the icon of epcot
22:10
it'll just be that ship for legal
22:12
reasons that's a joke it's just the ship
22:13
it's still spaceship earth
22:15
obviously no it's it's just the ship
22:17
yeah only the ship we'll move the ship
22:19
that's all that matters yeah um all
22:21
right let's stick with epcot and uh talk
22:23
about spaceship earth which is now green
22:26
kermit showed that if you are spaceship
22:28
earth it is easy being green because all
22:30
you have to do is hit a button but uh
22:33
it's earth month
22:34
thank you kermit
22:36
and uh
22:38
walt disney imagineering in disney parks
22:40
and in the muppets all put out a video
22:42
of kermit uh reminding us to take care
22:45
of the planet and turn on green lights
22:47
is that right
22:49
yes okay uh what do you think of it
22:52
really needed to ask uh it
22:54
um
22:56
unsurprisingly
22:58
one use more muppets for everything yes
23:02
um i don't care how mundane you think it
23:04
is
23:05
use the muppets for it um like the
23:08
muppets probably should have introduced
23:10
the new costumes for cosmic rewind
23:12
sure uh uncle deadly specifically
23:15
actually that would make sense yes i
23:16
know that would be that would be a good
23:18
giving yes he should have been entered
23:20
like
23:21
i don't care what it is have the muppets
23:24
do it as long as it fits them
23:28
i think that you can make
23:31
anything for the muppets but that is
23:32
besides the point
23:33
um cause all the lipids have different
23:35
personalities
23:37
i know but sometimes i feel like they
23:38
try to fit what is it around into a
23:41
square hole and
23:43
you're
23:45
um
23:46
you're thinking a muppets abc that is
23:48
what you're thinking of no it wasn't
23:50
actually it was more of the the thought
23:52
of like
23:54
some i i wouldn't just use them to use
23:56
them
23:57
i think they should be intentional and
23:59
then it's fine use them at anything in
24:00
epic
24:01
okay
24:02
no i think like they can do bits like
24:05
you can do the bit with uncle i'm so
24:07
sorry to touch the microphone i'm so
24:09
sorry for what that did
24:10
um
24:11
using uncle deadly to introduce costumes
24:13
using kermit for spaceship earth um
24:17
if honestly you can put muppets in
24:20
disney's hollywood studios on the main
24:22
drag as you're walking in
24:23
popping out windows and surprising
24:25
people
24:26
like they did in uh magic kingdom when
24:29
they weren't
24:30
in the show anymore yeah also like
24:32
muppet mobile lab at epcot which i we
24:35
still have not seen
24:36
um we'll just keep wishing
24:39
also like i just i just love the muppets
24:44
so next place
24:46
if you had one place you were gonna pick
24:47
next where would you put the muppets
24:51
like one thing that they can do next
24:52
what kingdom i want sweetums
24:56
at animal kingdom sounds slightly
24:59
dangerous it does but like
25:01
um see i think you should put gonzo and
25:04
pandora if you're gonna do animal
25:05
kingdom
25:08
um i was also thinking of the uh i can't
25:10
think of the monster's name
25:13
that just get a lot
25:15
he talks like this
25:16
animal no
25:18
what do you thought that was an animal
25:20
impression i don't know no the we'll
25:22
talk about this later okay um
25:25
that was uncomfortable um
25:28
anyway no um
25:31
i think that
25:33
gonzo would be very beneficial
25:36
gonzo can go anywhere gonzo can go
25:37
anywhere like at the end of the day
25:38
gonzo can go also like put rizzo and
25:40
magic kingdom because
25:44
um
25:46
i do think it would have been funny
25:48
and this is a little bit sacrilegious
25:51
is i believe at one point they talked
25:53
about putting the muppets in the
25:55
american adventure and having them
25:57
basically run the show
26:00
i'm okay with that well it's isn't it
26:02
like the longest running stage show now
26:04
or something
26:06
is it yeah it's all robots anyway but um
26:10
no put the muppets in there
26:12
great muppet wait great
26:16
great moments
26:17
in muppet history
26:19
um
26:21
i think they should in american history
26:23
is it wasn't it great moments in my
26:25
great great moments and the muppets
26:27
present great oh my god oh my god
26:30
synergy
26:31
um
26:35
i'm still thinking about that other
26:36
muppet i'm so sorry i'm gonna be very
26:38
bothered by this okay um
26:41
anyway i just
26:43
all right well we'll continue on with
26:44
the muppet thing and uh we learned last
26:47
week and we didn't get to it that there
26:48
is a jim henson documentary that is on
26:51
the way
26:52
and it's being made by ron howard
26:55
yay what do you think about this uh i
26:57
think it's gonna be wonderful um i
27:00
think the whole story behind jim henson
27:02
is extremely fascinating
27:04
um i think that he was a very um
27:08
courageous leader and i think that
27:10
there's a lot of leadership lessons to
27:11
be learned through jim henson if you
27:13
listen to below the frame
27:15
um
27:16
you hear a lot of people that got to
27:17
work directly with jim henson um
27:20
i also think like going all the way back
27:22
to sam and friends
27:24
is very interesting and it tells a lot
27:26
about
27:28
how passionate jim henson was to do
27:29
something like this
27:31
so
27:32
i'm really excited for it um if you guys
27:34
have not and i know he hasn't but there
27:36
is a uh on youtube there is a defunct
27:39
land six part uh documentary on jim
27:42
henson
27:43
um i think that is really really fun if
27:45
you just can't wait and you want to know
27:46
more about jim henson but i am so stoked
27:49
for this because ron howard is very
27:51
smart
27:53
so
27:55
your turn um i think it's gonna be great
27:57
i
27:59
it's funny because i saw it initially
28:02
and i'm like oh this could be great
28:03
can't wait ron howard awesome and i'm
28:05
like but what if peter jackson did it
28:08
like that was my
28:10
what cause then everyone would be
28:12
talking like this no because ron howard
28:14
did the beatles eight days a week it was
28:16
great
28:17
and then and maybe this is what will
28:19
happen is then peter jackson came out
28:21
with the one on disney plus and it was
28:23
like
28:24
okay never mind i want this one now and
28:26
i really i hit back i would be curious
28:29
to see what would happen if peter
28:31
jackson because i just feel like he'd
28:32
find all this stuff that doesn't exist
28:34
yet
28:36
but on the flip side i think ron howard
28:38
makes amazing films and documentaries
28:41
and
28:42
i would love to uh
28:44
oh i can't wait to see this and i hope
28:46
we don't have to wait super long for
28:48
this uh documentary to come out because
28:50
i just think it will uh
28:53
i think it'll be
28:54
probably
28:56
i'm gonna bet it's gonna be the best jim
28:58
henson documentary we'll get any time i
29:00
agree
29:01
um i also think it's going to be very
29:03
true
29:04
i don't think it's gonna gloss over any
29:06
of the not so great stuff
29:08
um
29:10
and i think that's what's super
29:11
important in documentaries
29:13
is you have to show
29:15
everything
29:16
um but i'm
29:18
i really i can't overstate how excited i
29:20
am for this
29:21
um
29:23
jim henson is a very interesting and i
29:25
hope there's an accompanying book too
29:27
of course you do i want the book that
29:29
comes along yeah is is there a here's a
29:31
question for you is there an uh
29:34
a biography about jim henson anywhere
29:37
yeah really yeah there's several oh do
29:39
you have any of them no they're all
29:40
expensive oh
29:42
that's why you wouldn't have them
29:44
that makes a little bit more sense than
29:46
love um
29:48
yeah okay well that would be very
29:50
interesting um
29:52
to read i wish i could read that'd be so
29:55
fun anyway we are now heading into geeks
29:58
corner plus and something very important
30:01

30:03

30:07

30:09

30:38
first thing which leads to the second
30:39

30:43
yeah so
30:45

well
31:07
and uh you know let us know what you
31:08
think about it drew worked very hard on
31:10
it and uh i think he did a fantastic job
31:14
with it
31:15
um
31:16
but yeah so katie running out of time
31:20
i'm sorry clock he just said too bad
31:22
i've spent all my money on jar jar merch
31:25
heading to the dash magic po box
31:26
speaking of which i am so sorry i know
31:29
you're trying to close the show did
31:31
y'all see the tweet that went viral of
31:32
the girl in disneyland who had a jar jar
31:34
binks backpack no you didn't see it was
31:38
like
31:40
one of those big
31:42
like face backpacks and it was like
31:44
jordan herpes i'm gonna have to find it
31:47
it was so funny and i want it
31:51
i don't i people said they could only
31:53
find it on ebay um because jar jar binks
31:55
is making a comeback the people love jar
31:58
jar b he's in lego star wars the
32:00
skywalker saga i can't tell if it's
32:01
ironic or not but anyway
32:03
