In 1976, DOLE became the sponsor for Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland. At the time, pineapple juice and fresh pineapple spears were sold. Fast forward ten years, and in 1986, the DOLE Whip arrived at Disneyland. Decades later, this (and variations of it) is a fan favorite for guests at Disneyland and Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World Resort. To celebrate this 50-year partnership, a new float has been introduced at Tropical Hideaway at Disneyland.
Called the Hoa Aloha Float, this is described in the following manner: DOLE Whip Pineapple with cucumber-lime agua fresca. Chamoy and candied kiwi. This refreshing new beverage is $9.99. The following video and photo were taken by a friend of Daps Magic, Patrick:

The Tropical Hideaway is located between Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room and the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland. With the current heat wave that is smothering Southern California (see survival guide here), this can be a great way to counter the conditions. There are other DOLE Whip offerings also served at this location.
