Shanghai Disney Resort has launched an official partner hotel program. This is in an effort to provide more accommodation options for guests visiting the resort. An unveiling ceremony was held for the first Official Partner Hotel of the Shanghai Disney Resort, Meliá Shanghai Parkside. Representatives from Shanghai International Resort, Shendi Group, Shanghai Disney Resort and Meliá Hotels & Resorts were all on hand for this special moment.

The goal of the Shanghai Disney Resort Official Partner Hotel program is to aim to enhance the overall guest experience at partner hotels. This will provide resort guests with more accommodation options that are both comfortable and convenient.

The first Shanghai Disney Resort Official Partner Hotel, Meliá Shanghai Parkside Hotel, is within walking distance of the Shanghai Disney Resort. It is located within the Shanghai International Resort and was developed by a subsidiary of the Shendi Group.

Part of the Official Partner Hotel Program will allow guests to purchase a bundle package that includes a hotel room and a Shanghai Disneyland One-Day Dated Ticket that includes an Early Park Entry Pass. This can be done through the Meliá Shanghai Parkside Hotel’s official website, WeChat mini program, or a travel agent for hotel stays that start on November 16, 2026. Once guests arrive at the hotel, they will also be able to purchase other park ticket products. This includes the Afternoon Ticket with Combo Coupon Package. This will enable the partner hotel guests to plan their resort visits that much more conveniently.

The addition of this partner hotel program at Shanghai Disney Resort follows the trend of other Disney resorts around the world. All of them have partner hotels or good neighbor hotels. They have different names for these hotels that have different perks. They can be found for visits to all of the Disney resorts around the world, however (other than Aulani).
