At D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, it was announced that Magic Happens will return to Disneyland’s parade route in 2027. The parade will return next summer to the Happiest Place on Earth. An exact date has not been announced at this point. What has been revealed is that the floats for the parade have been moved from storage back to Disneyland.
In a fun video that was released by Disneyland, several of the floats were shown making the trek through Anaheim to the Disneyland Resort. The end of the video sees them being moved to the area backstage behind Disneyland. Here is the full video:
Magic Happens first debuted at Disneyland on February 27, 2020. Its first run was very short. The park closed just weeks later, and with it the parade, for what would end up being a very long closure. When the parks reopened in 2021, the parade did not initially return. An updated version of the parade eventually returned in 2023 and continued to be presented through the summer of 2024. Here was the final performance of the parade in 2024:
