Guests visiting Disney California Adventure will discover that The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure looks a little bit different. The good news is it is still open! It just may not readily appear to be when walking up. This week, walls have gone up around the attraction’s exterior. They can also be found surrounding the queue with some fun graphics. Continuing through the queue and past these walls will lead to the attraction itself, which retells the story of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Little Mermaid.

It has been several years since this attraction got this kind of attention to its exterior. It is one of many projects happening at the Disneyland Resort to enhance The Happiest Place on Earth! Some of the projects will offer new experiences for guests who visit in the future. Others are a reinvestment in the magical experiences that are known and loved by guests.
