On Thursday, August 13, 2026, select members of the media were invited to an early tour of some of the pavilions on the show floor of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. This included a look at multiple pavilions on the floor, including the Imagineering Horizons Pavilion. This is a must-visit pavilion for Disney parks fans that gives a look at the projects that are happening around the world and at sea. The tour began with Neil Patrick Harris, Disney Experiences Chairman Thomas Mazloum, and President and Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Imagineering Bruce Vaughn welcoming those in attendance to the pavilion.
After the welcome, the media was set loose to explore the pavilion. It has updates from all around the world and also a tease for what’s coming with the Disney Cruise Line. This includes looks at a new model for Piston Peak for Walt Disney World, the Avatar land at Disney California Adventure, and a whole lot more.
