Plaza de la Familia has returned to the Disneyland Resort. From now through November 2, 2026, this beautiful celebration of Día de los Muertos includes vibrant decorations, live music, crafts, photo opportunities, cuisine, merchandise, and more. The main entertainment offering is The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate the Musical World of Coco! This is a retelling of Disney & Pixar’s Coco that takes place in front of the big entrance sign that says Plaza de la Familia in Disney California Adventure.
The premise behind this show is that a festive travelling troupe of storytellers comes to tell the story of Coco. This includes some really fun performances, puppets, and favorite songs from the film. During the performance, guests will hear Remember Me, The World Es Mi Familia, and also the Mexican folk song La Llorona. This is a show that is full of heart and is a reminder of the power of familial bonds.
